Despite a decrease in individual statistics compared to the previous season, Robbie Avila’s role in St. Louis University’s success secured him the award. St. Louis University finished in first place in the Atlantic 10.

Coming off its worst loss of the season, St. Louis University faces George Washington on Friday in the quarterfinal. SLU had lost three of its past six games.
