Rich Eisen, the Emmy-nominated sportscaster and host of The Rich Eisen Show on Disney+ and ESPN Radio, is set to make a return to ESPN’s SportsCenter. He will be hosting from Bristol, Conn., at midnight ET on Sunday into Monday, April 13. This marks his second time hosting SportsCenter again and his first visit back to ESPN headquarters in over 20 years.
Eisen’s Sentimental Return
Eisen expressed his enthusiasm about returning to his former workplace to host SportsCenter. He fondly remembers hosting SportsCenter from 1996 to 2003, primarily alongside Stuart Scott. He said he is fortunate to have the opportunity and can’t wait to get back in the chair.
A Look Back at His SportsCenter Days
Eisen hosted SportsCenter primarily alongside Stuart Scott from 1996 to 2003. He is fired up to return to his old stomping grounds to host an old school SportsCenter on such a big sports night just like back in the day.
Hosting “The Rich Eisen Show”
In addition to his SportsCenter appearance, Eisen will also host The Rich Eisen Show. The show will be broadcast from ESPN’s New York studios on Monday and Tuesday. The show will air from noon–3 p.m. ET on Disney+ and ESPN Radio.
Eisen jokingly hopes to find his missing BlackBerry charger, which he suspects he might have left somewhere at ESPN headquarters.
