Marcus Rashford has seemingly found his feet at Barcelona, with manager Hansi Flick acknowledging the player’s adaptation to the team. This comes amidst swirling rumours regarding Rashford’s long-term future and a potential permanent move to the Catalan club. The England international joined Barca on a season-long loan from Manchester United last summer.
Rashford’s Impact on Barcelona
Rashford has made a noticeable impact, contributing 11 goals and 13 assists in 40 appearances across all competitions. His contributions have aided Barcelona’s push in La Liga. Most recently, Rashford netted the opening goal in a 2-1 victory against Atletico Madrid.

Despite Rashford’s positive performances, it remains unclear whether Barcelona will exercise their £26 million option to buy him at the end of the season. Rashford’s time at Manchester United appears to have come to an end some time ago. He last played for United in December 2024. Before his move to Barcelona, he spent the second half of last season on loan at Aston Villa and was made to train separately from United’s first-team squad.
