Randal Grichuk has earned a spot on the New York Yankees’ Opening Day roster.

Yankees manager Aaron Boone informed reporters of Grichuk’s inclusion on the team. The Yankees also announced several roster moves.
Infielder Paul DeJong and utilityman Seth Brown have been reassigned to minor league camp. Utilityman Oswaldo Cabrera and infielder Max Schuemann were optioned to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.
Grichuk’s Career Overview
Grichuk, aged 34, is coming off a 2025 season where he posted a .228 batting average and a .273 on-base percentage. He also recorded nine home runs and 27 RBIs across 113 games with the Arizona Diamondbacks and Kansas City Royals.
