Catherine, the Princess of Wales, greeted members of the public during a surprise visit to Wimbledon on Thursday last week. Her appearance saw her engage directly with attendees. The Princess of Wales was observed handing out tickets and also took card payments from those present.
Observing Play on Court 18
Following her interactions with the public, the Princess headed to a seat on Court 18. From there, she watched Briton Arthur Fery in action. Fery was competing in his second-round match against Finland’s Otto Virtanen.
Distinguished Companions
While taking her seat on Court 18, the princess was positioned between two notable figures. She sat alongside Deborah Jevans, the All England Lawn Tennis Club chairwoman. Former British tennis number one Tim Henman was also seated with the princess.
The visit saw Catherine, the Princess of Wales, interact with attendees and observe a key match on Court 18.
