Videos showed the Prince of Wales joining the teams and officials to sing the national anthem before the match.
The future king was attending the crucial match as President and Patron of the Football Association (FA).
Greeting the Teams
Prior to kick-off, the prince could be seen in the tunnel with both sets of players.
Later, he walked onto the pitch and shook the hands of all 22 players and the officials.
Presentation and Europa League Final
William, a devoted Aston Villa supporter, will present the trophy to the victorious side.
The Prince of Wales is expected to travel to Istanbul, Turkey, on Wednesday to cheer on his beloved Villa, as they take on German side SC Freiburg in the Europa League final.
