Premier League Fixtures Rearranged for Live TV Coverage

A trio of Premier League fixtures have been rearranged in April to accommodate live television coverage in the UK.

Bournemouth Clash Moved for TNT Sports

Arsenal’s match against Bournemouth at Emirates Stadium will still be on Saturday, April 11, but with a new kick-off time of 12.30pm. TNT Sports will broadcast the game live.

However, the game could be switched again. This would happen if Arsenal reach the Champions League quarter-finals and play away on the preceding Wednesday.

Manchester City Game Picked Up by Sky Sports

The encounter between Manchester City and Arsenal has been switched to Sunday, April 19, with a 4.30pm kick-off. Sky Sports will broadcast the match.

Newcastle United Fixture Also Rescheduled

Arsenal’s home game against Newcastle United has been moved to a 5.30pm start on Saturday, April 25. Sky Sports will broadcast the game.

However, that game is subject to change again. It falls on the weekend of the FA Cup semi-finals, and both clubs still harbour ambitions of reaching that stage of the competition. European commitments could also force a change.

  • Bournemouth (H) | 12.30pm on Saturday, April 11
  • Manchester City (A) | 4.30pm on Sunday, April 19
  • Newcastle United (H) | 5.30pm on Saturday, April 25

The changes are to allow the games to be shown on TNT Sports and Sky Sports.
