PGA Championship 2026: How to Watch and What to Expect

Scottie Scheffler is favoured to defend his title at the 2026 PGA Championship.

The world’s No. 1 player is the odds-on choice to win at Aronimink Golf Club in Newtown Square, Pennsylvania. The course, a Donald Ross masterpiece outside of Philadelphia, last hosted the PGA Championship in 1962.

Scheffler’s Chances

Scheffler is the favourite. He won by five strokes at Quail Hollow last year for his third major championship. A win this week would give him his fifth major and second Wanamaker Trophy.

Scheffler comes in as the leader at +390 to win. He has just one win this season. That’s unusual for a player who won six tournaments in 2025 and seven in 2024. He comes to Aronimink with three straight runner-up finishes.

Other Contenders

One six-time major winner, and reigning Masters champion, comes into the weekend at +950, looking to add a third PGA title to his resume. A seventh major title would be a record for a European player, moving him past Nick Faldo. A blister that cut short his practice round on Tuesday is under control, he told the Palm Beach Post Wednesday.

Cameron Young comes into the weekend at +1200 to win. He won the Players Championship, finished third at the Masters and picked up his second win of the season at the Cadillac Championship on May 3. He’s third on the board at +1200.
