Paolo Maldini has responded with irony to suggestions that he was considered a ‘one man show’. The former AC Milan director was asked by the media for his opinion on club owner Gerry Cardinale’s alleged assessment.
Maldini’s Rebuttal
Maldini’s response to the ‘one man show’ claim was a simple: “Si risponde da solo” (He answers himself). He made the comment while smiling.
He was at the Sky Inclusion Days, where he signed autographs and took selfies with fans.
Future Plans
Maldini has addressed his future plans, but dodged questions about a potential role with the national team.
He did not rule out a move to Fenerbahçe, following meetings in Istanbul with Hakan Safi, a candidate for the presidency. A photo of the two together was published on Instagram.
Maldini said of Safi: “È un amico, uno dei candidati alla presidenza, vediamo cosa succederà dovesse vincere” (He is a friend, one of the candidates for the presidency, let’s see what happens if he wins).
