Experienced England defender Kyle Walker has retired from international football with immediate effect. The 35-year-old Burnley full-back has decided to call time on his career after winning 96 caps for the Three Lions and featuring at five major tournaments. Walker won the last of those caps in a friendly against Senegal at the City Ground in June 2025.
Saratoga, owned by JP McManus, has won the McCoy Contractors Juvenile Handicap Hurdle at Cheltenham. Mark Walsh rode Saratoga to victory. Sadly, Hansard, a 100-1 outsider, suffered a fatal injury in The Arkle.

Duke starting guard Caleb Foster has a fractured right foot and will be out indefinitely. Duke coach Jon Scheyer announced that Foster underwent surgery Sunday, adding that the junior will miss “foreseeable” time.
