According to Paco González of TUDN, the new management of Atlas, led by Pepe Miguel Bejos after recently acquiring the club, are not against the idea of signing Neymar.
González reports that Neymar’s representative reached out to Atlas’s new owners to offer them Neymar. Pepe Miguel Bejos reportedly responded, “It wouldn’t be a bad idea to bring in Neymar”.

Atlas’s Clausura 2026 season concluded with a 4-2 aggregate loss to Cruz Azul in the Liguilla Liga MX quarter-finals.
The new administration is awaiting approval to take over the club. Some Atlas players will automatically transfer to Santos Laguna and were not part of the recent negotiations.
