Nebraska Cornhuskers are set to face Ole Miss on Saturday night during day two of the Lincoln Regional.
The Huskers secured a win against South Dakota State on Friday afternoon. Ole Miss also emerged victorious against Arizona State later that night in a 14-inning game.
Huskers’ Regional History
This marks Nebraska’s 20th regional appearance and the fourth under coach Will Bolt.
The Huskers have reached the regional final six times. They have also qualified for the super regional on four occasions (2000, 2001, 2002, 2005).
Lincoln Regional Stakes
The winner of the Lincoln Regional will advance to play the winner of the Auburn Regional.
The Auburn Regional teams consist of Auburn, UCF, NC State and Milwaukee.
With a victory on Saturday night, Nebraska would progress to the Regional Championship game on Sunday night. A loss would see the Huskers play an elimination game on Sunday afternoon.
