NBA All-Rookie Teams Named: Flagg and Knueppel Lead the Way

Cooper Flagg of Dallas and Kon Knueppel of Charlotte headline the Kia NBA All-Rookie Teams.

The teams were unveiled Wednesday night.

Flagg and Knueppel Unanimous First-Team Picks

Flagg and Knueppel were unanimous first-team selections.

Philadelphia’s VJ Edgecombe also earned a unanimous spot on the Kia NBA All-Rookie First Team.

Joining Flagg, Knueppel and Edgecombe on the First Team are San Antonio’s Dylan Harper and Memphis’ Cedric Coward.

Harper appeared on all 100 ballots.

He received 93 first-team nods and seven second-team votes.

Flagg edged Knueppel in the Kia Rookie of the Year balloting.

All-Rookie Second Team Announced

The All-Rookie Second Team features New Orleans’ Jeremiah Fears and Derik Queen.

Utah’s Ace Bailey, Sacramento’s Maxime Raynaud and Toronto’s Collin Murray-Boyles also made the Second Team.

Upcoming NBA Announcements

The NBA will announce the All-Defensive Teams on Friday.

That announcement is scheduled for 7:30 ET on Peacock.

The All-NBA Teams will be revealed on Sunday at 7 ET, and will be shown on NBC/Peacock.

Coach of the Year is set to be announced Tuesday.
