Inter Miami CF will visit Nashville SC this Wednesday for their Concacaf Champions Cup Round of 16 first leg. The match is set for 7:30 p.m. ET at GEODIS Park in Nashville, Tennessee.
The match will be broadcast live in English on FS2 and in Spanish on TUDN.
Miami’s Champions Cup Ambitions
Inter Miami enters the 2026 Concacaf Champions Cup after claiming victories over Orlando City SC and D.C. United. This marks Inter Miami’s third appearance in the competition, which features teams from North America, Central America, and the Caribbean. This year represents the 61st edition of the Concacaf Champions Cup, taking place between February and May.
Inter Miami were pre-seeded directly into the Round of 16 due to their 2025 MLS Cup title.

It’s not easy, and above all it excites us because last year we were just one step away from reaching the final…. But we also know it’s a very difficult matchup. We’re facing an opponent that has started very strongly in our league, one of the best in our conference, and a team that has strengthened well and is really performing well.”
Previous Champions Cup Encounters
Inter Miami first played in Concacaf’s premier club competition in 2024. They defeated Nashville SC 5-3 on aggregate in the Round of 16, but then lost to C.F. Monterrey in the Quarterfinals.
In 2025, Inter Miami reached the Semifinals. The team knocked out Sporting Kansas City 4-1 on aggregate in Round One, followed by overcoming Cavalier FC 4-0 on aggregate in the Quarterfinas and LAFC 3-2 in the Quarterfinals. Inter Miami ultimately fell against Vancouver Whitecaps in the Semifinals.
Nashville’s Route to the Round of 16
Nashville SC earned its place in the Round of 16 by defeating Atlético Ottawa with a 7-0 aggregate in Round One.
Series History
- The sides meet for the second time in the Champions Cup after Inter Miami secured a 5-3 win on aggregate in the Round of 16 of the 2024 edition.
- Inter Miami has faced Nashville 19 times, recording 10 wins, four draws and five losses.
- Most recently, Inter Miami secured a dominant 4-0 win over Nashville last November in the decisive Game 3 in the Best-of-3 series between the sides in Round One of the Audi 2025 MLS Cup Playoffs to advance to the Eastern Conference Semifinals.
The winner of the series will advance to the Quarterfinals. Should Inter Miami advance, they would face the winner of the series between Club América and the Philadelphia Union.
