The Masters: UK Start Times for the First Round at Augusta

The opening round of the 90th Masters tournament is being held at Augusta National Golf Club in Augusta, Georgia.

There are 91 players in the field for the opening men’s major of the year.

Honorary Starters and First Tee Time

Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player and Tom Watson will return for the Honorary Starters ceremony on Thursday morning at 12.25pm BST.

The tournament gets under way 15 minutes later.

McIlroy’s Tee Time

Rory McIlroy returns as defending champion after last year’s dramatic play-off victory over Justin Rose. McIlroy has been given an early-late draw for the first two rounds of his title defence, beginning at 3.31pm UK time alongside Cameron Young and US Amateur champion Mason Howell.

Scheffler’s Afternoon Start

Two-time Masters champion Scottie Scheffler is on the opposite side of the draw alongside former US Open champion Gary Woodland and Scotland’s Robert MacIntyre.

Rose is also a late starter with fellow former world No 1s Jordan Spieth and Brooks Koepka.
