Lio Rush is scheduled to face Tommaso Ciampa in a singles match. The bout will occur on AEW Collision.
Rush and Ciampa to Collide
Rush and Ciampa will face each other in a first-time singles match on Collision. Rush caught attention with his style during the 21-Man Blackjack Battle Royale for the AEW National Title. He was having success until Ciampa eliminated him after a hard-hitting exchange. Now, they will get another chance to compete with no one else involved.
The match comes after Rush’s performance in the Zero Hour Blackjack Battle Royale for the AEW National Championship. During the battle royale, Tommaso Ciampa eliminated Rush.
AEW Collision Card also Features Trios Title Defence
Místico and JetSpeed will defend their AEW World Trios Championship. JetSpeed consists of Kevin Knight and Mike Bailey. They will face Konosuke Takeshita, Josh Alexander and El Clon of the Don Callis Family.
JetSpeed recently experienced the highs and lows of being champions. Two weeks ago, they lost the AEW World Trios Championship to Kyle Fletcher, Kazuchika Okada and Mark Davis of the Don Callis Family in a surprise defence. However, last weekend at Revolution, Bailey and Knight teamed with Místico to defeat the Callis Family and regain the titles.
Roderick Strong and Orange Cassidy, now officially a team, will also be in action. They earned a victory in Trios action at AEW Revolution. They are set to face Jay Lethal and Lee Johnson of Lethal Twist.
Megan Bayne and Lena Kross, known as Divine Dominion, became the AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions by defeating The Babes of Wrath at Revolution. The NEW AEW Women’s World Tag Team Champions are in action tonight.
