Las Palmas and Granada Deadlocked at Half-Time

Las Palmas and Granada concluded the first half of their match with a 0-0 scoreline. The first half saw its share of interruptions, with injuries and offside calls impacting the flow of play.

Injury Concerns for Both Sides

The match was temporarily halted due to an injury to Viti Rozada of Las Palmas. Play was also stopped due to an injury sustained by Granada’s Diego Hormigo.

Las Palmas were forced to make a substitution due to an injury to Enzo Loiodice. Kirian Rodríguez replaced Loiodice.

Granada’s Offside Struggles

Granada had multiple offside calls against them. Jorge Pascual attempted a through pass, but José Arnáiz was caught offside. Rubén Alcaraz also attempted a through pass, but Pablo Sáenz was in an offside position. Sergio Ruiz tried to find Jorge Pascual with a through pass, but he was offside.

Added Time and Yellow Cards

The fourth official indicated five minutes of added time at the end of the first half. Loïc Williams of Granada received a yellow card for dangerous play.

Attacking Efforts Denied

Rubén Alcaraz’s header from close range on the right side was blocked. Pablo Sáenz’s left-footed shot from over 30 metres went too high, following a counter-attack led by Jorge Pascual. Taisei Miyashiro’s right-footed shot from the right side of the box sailed too high. Kirian Rodríguez had a shot blocked from outside the area, assisted by Iker Bravo. José Arnáiz’s right-footed shot from outside the area was saved.

Both teams head into the second half looking to break the deadlock after a frustrating first 45 minutes.
