King Green and Jeremy Stephens Set for ‘Psycho’ UFC Showdown

King Green believes he and Jeremy Stephens can both be described as “psycho”. The two lightweights are scheduled to meet at UFC 328.

Green (34-17-1 MMA, 15-12-1 UFC) will face Jeremy Stephens (29-22 MMA, 15-19 UFC) on Saturday. The fight will be the main card opener at Prudential Center in Newark, N.J.

Green’s Mindset Ahead of the Fight

Green spoke to reporters, including MMA Junkie, at Wednesday’s UFC 328 media day. He stated his intentions for the fight against Stephens.

“I’m becoming more psycho because I’m realizing it now,” Green said. He added, “I want to tell Jeremy, I just want to find out who’s more psycho because I believe he is, too. He has a little bit of that in him, too, and I can see it. The things he’s done, I’m like, ‘Oh, interesting.'”

Green continued, “Let’s find out who’s more psycho, because I’m going to go stand in front of you, and look him crazy in his eyes, and let’s f*cking go. And just, pow, pow, pow, and he hit me and I hit him. Pow, pow, pow. It’s going to go crazy. It’s going to be something crazy, and let’s find out who’s more psycho. I’m willing to do it.”
