Trippier’s Newcastle Career
Trippier, aged 35, joined Newcastle from Atletico Madrid in 2022. He was the first signing made under the new ownership.
The £12million deal has been described as an excellent piece of business. Trippier played a key role in the club’s transformation. This included going from a relegation-threatened side to two-time Champions League qualifiers and 2025 Carabao Cup winners.

Trippier has discussed his future beyond Newcastle United. His contract at St James’ Park is set to expire on June 30.
