Robert Lewandowski’s future is a hot topic. FC Barcelona are said to be interested in extending his contract. However, reports suggest they have offered him a deal with a much lower salary.
Juventus’ Offer to Lewandowski
This apparent dissatisfaction of Lewandowski could be exploited by other clubs. Juventus FC are reportedly interested in securing the Polish international’s services. The club are said to view signing Lewandowski as a priority in the upcoming summer transfer window.
Journalist Nicolo Schira has reported on the offer Juventus have prepared for Lewandowski. According to Schira, the Serie A club are proposing a one-year contract. This contract would see Lewandowski earn roughly 6-7 million euros.
This is not a particularly high salary when compared to his current earnings. It’s understood Lewandowski currently earns around 26 million euros at Barcelona. It’s therefore unsurprising he may find it difficult to accept such a significant pay cut.
Barcelona’s Position
FC Barcelona are reportedly keen to extend Lewandowski’s contract. However, the club are said to have offered him a deal at a considerably reduced salary. This has seemingly led to dissatisfaction on the player’s part.
Juventus are looking to capitalise on this situation. They are ready to offer him a contract for the 2026/27 season. The proposed salary is in the region of 6-7 million euros per year.
The coming months will reveal where Lewandowski ends up playing his football.
