This is a new world record for the highest concurrent viewership ever for a live event across any digital platform. The semi-final also had 619 million views on JioHotstar.
That makes it the most-streamed T20I match in history. It surpassed the previous record of 533 million views set during the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 final.
Viewership Figures Dominate
Across linear television and digital platforms, the semi-final delivered a combined reach exceeding 320 million viewers. Watch-time across screens passed 23 billion minutes.
That makes it the most-watched T20 International match ever. The match saw almost 500 runs across the two innings and had a peak global concurrent viewership of over 65 million.
