The New York Giants have added to their defensive line.

The New York Giants selected Bobby Jamison-Travis in Round 6 of the 2026 NFL Draft, 186th overall. Jamison-Travis is a 6-foot-5, 335-pound defensive tackle out of Auburn.

Giants Trade to Select Malachi Fields

After trading their fourth-round pick (No. 105) and fifth-round pick (No. 145), along with a 2027 fourth-round pick, to move up to No 74 to select wide receiver Malachi Fields on Friday night, this was New York’s first pick of Day 3. The Giants also hold picks 192 and 193.

Scouting Report on Jamison-Travis

In his draft guide, Dane Brugler of The Athletic says Jamison-Travis fills out his wide frame well and doesn’t have much excess weight. He doesn’t explode out of his stance to create knockback but does hold the point with a functional anchor. He moves well on his feet, with the body flexibility to sift through congestion and find the football.

His motor stays cranked, and character feedback from scouts is off the charts because of his pleasant personality and work ethic. Overall, Jamison-Travis carries his weight well and has exceptional length, but he is still learning how to use his tools in unison to be disruptive. He is a candidate for a practice squad as he continues to develop.
