Antetokounmpo’s Injury and Fan Concerns
After apparently hurting his ankle last week, Giannis Antetokounmpo seemingly injured his knee during Sunday’s win over the Pacers. The Bucks’ training staff took him out of the game. Despite wanting to return, he listened to the professionals. He realised that going back in wasn’t worth it.
This has led to questions about whether his return was worth the risk. Milwaukee are unlikely to make the postseason. This is despite Giannis returning from a calf injury a couple of weeks ago when they were not far out of the play-in picture.
He is still listed as questionable on the injury report. It says it is for an ankle sprain, not the hyperextended knee that he and Doc Rivers believed he sustained on Sunday.
Fan Survey on Bucks’ Approach
A survey is asking fans for their opinion on how the Bucks should manage Giannis’ health going forward. It also seeks to gauge whether this situation will impact his future in Milwaukee. The survey also includes questions about the NCAA tournament and Cam Thomas.
