Fury to Face Makhmudov in London Bout This April

Tyson Fury is set to come out of retirement for the fifth time in his boxing career, this time against Arslanbek Makhmudov.

Fury, a former two-time heavyweight champion, will box Makhmudov in the Briton’s first fight since December 2024. In that fight, he was outpointed by Oleksandr Usyk for the second time in eight months.

Fury’s Return and Makhmudov Challenge

Fury is still keen for a trilogy bout with Usyk, who holds the unified belts. The Ukrainian handed the “Gypsy King” the first losses of his professional career.

Before any potential match-up with Usyk, Fury will have to overcome Russia’s Makhmudov. The pair will clash in a main-event bout in London.

Benn’s Return to the Ring

Conor Benn is also scheduled to appear on the card in the co-main event against Regis Prograis. Benn will enter the ring for the first time since he surprisingly defected from his longtime promoter Eddie Hearn.

It will also be the first time since avenging the sole loss of his pro career. The British welterweight was beaten by Chris Eubank Jr last April, but Benn dropped and outpointed his bitter rival in a November rematch.

Fury vs Makhmudov will take place on Saturday 11 April, at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. The main card is expected to begin at 7pm BST, with main-event ring walks from 10pm BST.

The event will stream live exclusively on Netflix worldwide. The event will be available to all existing subscribers and will not be a pay-per-view.
