England winger Immanuel Feyi-Waboso could feature for Exeter in their European Challenge Cup game against Munster on Saturday.
Feyi-Waboso’s Return From Injury
Feyi-Waboso has not played since Exeter’s loss to Bristol on 24 January.
The 23-year-old injured his hamstring while training with England ahead of the Six Nations and has not featured since Exeter’s Prem loss at Bristol on 24 January.
He missed the entire Six Nations.
Feyi-Waboso has won 13 caps since making his debut just over two years ago, scoring seven tries.
Baxter’s Comments on Team Availability
Exeter director of rugby Rob Baxter told BBC Radio Devon: “We’ve just got to see how he goes through training, but he was in pretty much full training last week, he’s in full training this week, so that makes him available to play.”
Baxter added: “We haven’t had a great deal of luck this season, so if we could have our little bit of luck now on injuries and get through the next few weeks with this squad intact, we could end up running into the last third of the season with our strongest available team, which would be fantastic.”
“That obviously allows us to try and really put our foot down and push for what we might achieve this season, because obviously the more good players you have available, the more opportunities you have, the more options you have, and we’ll go from there.”
“So hopefully that’s how things will pan out and we can strengthen the side week by week as we move forward now.”
