EFL Awards 2026: Winners List Revealed at London Ceremony

The EFL Awards 2026 winners list was revealed on Sunday evening.

The winners were announced live at the League’s annual ceremony in London on the 19th of April, being televised on Sky Sports Football from 8:30pm.

Championship Manager and Player of the Season

The nominees for EFL Championship Manager of the Season, sponsored by Football Manager, were Frank Lampard – Coventry City, Alex Neil – Millwall, Sergej Jakirovic – Hull City, and Kim Hellberg – Middlesbrough.

For EFL Championship Player of the Season, sponsored by Sky Bet, the nominees included Hayden Hackney – Middlesbrough, Carl Rushworth – Coventry City, Femi Azeez – Millwall, and Zan Vipotnik – Swansea City.

League One and Two Managers and Players

The nominees for EFL League One Manager of the Season, sponsored by Football Manager, were Graham Alexander – Bradford City, Michael Skubala – Lincoln City, Brian Barry-Murphy – Cardiff City, and Alex Revell – Stevenage.

EFL League One Player of the Season, sponsored by Sky Bet, nominees were Dom Ballard – Leyton Orient, Owen Bailey – Doncaster Rovers, Jack Moylan – Lincoln City, and Sonny Bradley – Lincoln City.

EFL League Two Manager of the Season, sponsored by Football Manager, nominees were Andy Woodman – Bromley, Paul Warne – Milton Keynes Dons, Micky Mellon – Oldham Athletic, and Neil Harris – Cambridge United.

EFL League Two Player of the Season, sponsored by Sky Bet, nominees were Aaron Drinan – Swindon Town, Mitch Pinnock – Bromley, Callum Paterson – Milton Keynes Dons, and Omar Sowumni – Bromley.

Young Players of the Season

EFL Championship Young Player of the Season, sponsored by EA Sports, nominees were Jordan James – Leicester City, Ashley Phillips – Stoke City, Sydie Peck – Sheffield United, and Bobby Clark – Derby County.

Dom Ballard – Leyton Orient, Amario Cozier-Duberry – Bolton Wanderers, Dylan Lawlor – Cardiff City, and Jenson Metcalfe – Bradford City were nominated for EFL League One Young Player of the Season, sponsored by EA Sports.

The nominees for EFL League Two Young Player of the Season, sponsored by EA Sports, were Matty Young – Salford City, Daniel Kanu – Walsall, Sam Gale – Gillingham, and Tom Iorpenda – Notts County.

Apprentice of the Season Awards

Louis Page – Leicester City won the EFL Championship Apprentice of the Season, sponsored by LFE. Leo Pecover – Bristol City and Sheldon Kendall – Millwall were also nominated.

The EFL said Page joined the Foxes academy at under-9 level and has so far registered 16 appearances in the second-tier.

Sulyman Krubally – Burton Albion, Ryan Doherty – Stevenage, and Tegan Finn – Plymouth Argyle were nominated for EFL League One Apprentice of the Season, sponsored by LFE.

Ollie Dewsbury – Bristol Rovers won the EFL League Two Apprentice of the Season, sponsored by LFE. Mamadou Diallo – Cheltenham Town and Rian Silver – MK Dons were also nominated.

The EFL said Dewsbury joined the academy at Under-9’s and signed his first contract in February 2025 after making his first team debut aged 15 in an FA Cup match.

The regular season of the 2025/26 season is coming to an end in a few weeks.
