Eddie Gray believes Archie Gray should be deployed in central midfield for Tottenham. Archie Gray has played in various positions, including left-back, centre-half, and midfield, since joining Spurs from Leeds over 18 months ago.
Eddie Gray spoke to talkSPORT about where new Tottenham boss Roberto de Zerbi should play Archie Gray. “I know he’s one of the family but I must say that when I watch him play, he plays in a mature fashion,” said Gray.
He added: “He doesn’t let things get to him and he keeps trying to do the right things and I hope that continues for him, he’s a level headed lad anyway.”
Why Central Midfield Suits Archie Gray
Eddie Gray explained why he thinks central midfield is the best position for Archie Gray. “I think he will end up being a box-to-box midfielder, that’s where his strengths are because he’s a great runner with the ball and he gets forward with his pace and energy.”
Gray stated definitively, “I think he will end up as a central midfielder.”
