Detroit Lions Agree to Terms with Roger McCreary

Free agent cornerback Roger McCreary has agreed to terms with the Detroit Lions on a one-year deal.

McCreary’s Career to Date

McCreary, 26, started 38 games for the Tennessee Titans before being traded to the Los Angeles Rams for a 2026 conditional fifth-round pick at last season’s trade deadline.

McCreary played one defensive snap for Los Angeles before a groin injury landed him on injured reserve.

He returned from the injury and played in the Rams’ final five games of the season (including the playoffs).

In 14 regular-season games with the Titans and Rams, McCreary had one interception, a sack, two passes defended and 37 total tackles.

McCreary spent the first four seasons of his career with the Titans. In 61 regular-season games in his NFL career, McCreary has three interceptions, four sacks, 17 passes defended and 257 total tackles.
