Dennis Schroder took to Instagram after the Cleveland Cavaliers’ recent playoff game against the Detroit Pistons.
The Cavaliers defeated the Pistons 112-103 in Game 4 of their second-round playoff series on Monday night, levelling the series at 2-2.
Schroder’s Performance in Game 4
Schroder played for 20 minutes, scoring seven points, grabbing two rebounds, and securing one steal. He shot 3/4 from the field.
Schroder’s Regular Season Stats
Schroder’s regular season stats included averages of 10.8 points, 2.7 rebounds and 4.9 assists per contest. He shot 40.5% from the field and 32.9% from three-point range across 70 games.
He was traded to the Cavs from the Sacramento Kings during the season.
ESPN’s Shams Charania reported that the Cavaliers traded De’Andre Hunter to the Sacramento Kings for Dennis Schroder and Keon Ellis in a three-team deal also involving the Chicago Bulls.
Cavaliers’ Playoff Journey
The Cavs finished the regular season as the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference with a 52-30 record. They defeated the Toronto Raptors in the first round in seven games.

Schroder was the 17th pick in the 2013 NBA Draft and has played for several teams including the Atlanta Hawks, OKC Thunder, Los Angeles Lakers, Brooklyn Nets, Golden State Warriors, Toronto Raptors, Boston Celtics, Detroit Pistons and Houston Rockets. The 32-year-old has career averages of 13.7 points, 2.9 rebounds and 4.9 assists per contest while shooting 43.0% from the field and 34.1% from three-point range in 912 games. He has also appeared in 85 NBA playoff games.
