Dennis Rodman Set for WWE Hall of Fame Induction

Dennis Rodman is set to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. Sources confirmed the news on Friday.

Rodman’s Move to Wrestling

Rodman, a Basketball Hall of Famer, is also a five-time NBA champion. He played with the Detroit Pistons and Chicago Bulls.

His pro wrestling career included four matches. Three of those were in WCW.

Rodman made his WCW debut in 1997. In 1998, he famously skipped an NBA Finals practice. He appeared on “WCW Monday Nitro” at that time. He used the appearance to set up a tag team match. He partnered with Hulk Hogan, and they faced Diamond Dallas Page and Karl Malone.

Hall of Fame Details

WWE has a celebrity wing in its Hall of Fame. Other sports figures have been inducted into it. These include Pete Rose, William Perry, Bob Uecker, Mike Tyson and Muhammad Ali.

The Hall of Fame ceremony will be held April 17 in Las Vegas. The event is part of WrestleMania weekend.

Rodman’s Basketball Legacy

Rodman was inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame in 2011.

The upcoming WWE Hall of Fame induction adds another honour to his diverse career.
