Dennis Parker Jr. has committed to Kansas, he told On3.
The Radford transfer guard averaged 18.3 points and 5.9 rebounds per game this season.
Parker’s Impressive Scoring Record
The 6-foot-6 junior shot 48.4% from the field and nearly 38% from three.
Parker exploded for 53 points in a game against Coppin State this year, knocking down 10 threes.
That was the most points scored by a Division I player in a single game since 2019.
He also scored 20 or more points in 11 matchups this season.
From NC State to Kansas
The Richmond, Virginia native began his college career at NC State, where he spent two seasons.
He averaged 4.7 points per game as a freshman and 2.9 points as a sophomore before transferring to Radford, where he broke out this past season.
Parker will now conclude his college career in Lawrence with Bill Self.
Jayhawks’ New Additions
Parker becomes the Jayhawks’ fourth transfer addition.
He joins Utah forward Keanu Dawes, Charleston center Christian Reeves, and Toledo guard Leroy Blyden Jr.
Kansas is also bringing in a loaded high school recruiting class, headlined by No. 1 overall recruit Tyran Stokes.
