Danica Patrick, who made her name as a driver in both IndyCar and NASCAR, was part of FOX’s coverage of the Indy 500.
Patrick’s outfit choice, a one-shoulder red dress, during the broadcast on Sunday has sparked reactions from viewers.
Fans React to Patrick’s Outfit
The outfit has drawn some negative commentary. One fan compared Patrick’s outfit to a previous infamous fashion choice at the Indy 500.
Another comment criticised the appropriateness of the attire for race coverage. There was also a comment suggesting the outfit was more suited to a nightclub.
This isn’t the first time Patrick’s Indy 500 attire has been criticised.
Previous Criticism
Last year, Patrick was criticised for her checkerboard style outfit at the Indy 500.
Patrick’s Recent Media Work
Patrick announced earlier this year that she will not be part of SkySports’ Formula 1 coverage this year.
She reflected positively on her time with Sky Sports F1, noting the fun she had with the team and the opportunity to see new race tracks and cities. Patrick also acknowledged the boom in F1 during her time with Sky.
Patrick said she decided to move on after the last race in 2025. Despite leaving the broadcast team, Patrick intends to watch the F1 season as a fan.
Indy 500 Result
Felix Rosenqvist won the 2026 Indy 500, in what was described as one of the closest finishes ever.
