Carlos Boozer’s Sons Shine in March Madness Debut for Duke

The Boozer brothers, Cameron and Cayden, have made an impact at Duke, following in their father’s footsteps as they aim to lead the Blue Devils to a National Championship. The fraternal twin freshmen debuted in March Madness on Thursday, helping Duke narrowly avoid an upset with a 71-65 victory over Siena in the first round of the 2026 NCAA Men’s Basketball tournament.

Cayden Boozer posted a career-high 19 points. Cameron Boozer recorded his 20th double-double of the season.

Boozer Brothers’ Family Legacy

Cayden and Cameron are the sons of two-time NBA All-Star Carlos Boozer and his former wife CeCe. Carlos Boozer played for Duke and led the team to an NCAA title in 2001.

Their older brother, Carmani Boozer, was born with sickle cell anemia. His twin brothers were genetic matches and provided the eventual cure for his disease, according to ESPN.

Carlos and CeCe Boozer divorced in 2015 after 13 years of marriage. They are regularly seen supporting Cayden and Cameron at basketball games.

From High School Success to Duke Standouts

Born on July 18, 2007, in Utah, the Boozer twins were raised in Miami, Florida. At Christopher Columbus High School, the pair led the team to four consecutive State Championship titles.

They became five-star Division 1 recruits.
