Castleford’s Victory Over Bradford
Castleford beat Bradford 40-28 at the OneBore Stadium. This victory secured Castleford’s second Super League win of the season.
Jason Qareqare’s hat-trick inspired a turnaround for Castleford.
The lead changed hands four times in the first half. Qareqare’s treble and Darnell McIntosh’s score, replying to tries from Esan Marsters and Joe Mellor, edged Cas 22-16 ahead at the break.

Leeds Rhinos beat Warrington Wolves. Maika Sivo scored his third hat-trick in five games.
Hull KR continued their recent derby dominance against rivals Hull FC, running out 24-6 winners at Craven Park. Jack Broadbent and Ollie Gildart’s tries gave Rovers a half-time lead, despite Tom Briscoe pulling Hull back into the game.
Jez Litten and a Joe Burgess double helped the home side pull away for a comfortable win – a seventh straight derby success for Rovers. It means they climb above Hull FC in the Super League table after winning what is likely to be coach Willie Peters’ final derby following the announcement he will leave the club at the end of the season.
St Helens’ Dramatic Derby Win
Bill Leyland scored a dramatic pair of late tries on his St Helens debut. This earned them a stunning derby win over Super League leaders Wigan Warriors.
Harry Smith got Wigan going as Matt Whitley hit back, while Jack Farrimond and Daryl Clark exchanged tries soon after. Jai Field, on his return from injury, and Zach Eckersley gave the visitors what looked to be a commanding lead before Saints pulled off a remarkable late intervention.
Four tries in just over five minutes followed, first through Jackson Hastings and Tristan Sailor before Leyland’s sensational double in the final couple of minutes.
