Bayern Munich Eye Attacking Reinforcements: Gordon a Target?

Bayern Munich board member for sport Max Eberl appears to have hinted at a possible move for Anthony Gordon. In an interview, Eberl said, “We’re in agreement that we will sign an attacking player if he can be financed.” He added, “We had a very good conversation and we hope that we can make progress.”

Eberl’s comments have been interpreted as a sign that Bayern Munich are serious about the Newcastle United star. It feels like if there is a way to get the deal done in a good way for both sides, it feels like it will happen. If not, the Bavarians will likely just move on to option two.

Liverpool’s Interest in RB Leipzig Duo

Liverpool are reportedly targeting RB Leipzig duo Yan Diomande and Antonio Nusa. The Reds are keen to recruit in wide areas ahead of next season. It’s reported that Liverpool would be looking at parting with around €150 million for the pair.

Another name on their shortlist is Paris Saint-Germain star Bradley Barcola. Barcola has also been heavily linked with Arsenal in recent weeks.

British-record transfer Alexander Isak, meanwhile, is expected to remain at Anfield despite failing to hit top form this term.

AC Milan’s Midfield Ambitions

AC Milan head coach Massimiliano Allegri is reportedly dreaming of a midfield threesome of Luka Modrić, Adrien Rabiot, and Bayern Munich’s Leon Goretzka. Milan have had Leon Goretzka in their sights for a few months and are now trying to accelerate. The player has already had direct contact with Allegri and he likes the idea, but obviously Allegri must secure Champions League qualification first.

Allegri has already made it clear to the management several times that he needs to raise the bar in midfield, and with the German he believes he would do that. If everything goes as the coach would like, the starting midfield for 2026-27 would consist of Goretzka, Luka Modric and Adrien Rabiot.

Goretzka has won his seventh Bundesliga title (in eight seasons) with Bayern Munich and he’s hungry for a breath of fresh air. He has chosen a new adventure, breaking out of a comfort zone that brought trophy after trophy.

Milan Eye Juventus’ Vlahović

AC Milan could also move to sign Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic as a free agent if they qualify for the Champions League. Milan are third in Serie A, ahead of Roma on goal difference.

With several potential moves in the works, the summer transfer window promises to be an active one for clubs across Europe.
