The Memphis Grizzlies have agreed to a 10-day deal with Adama Bal. Bal, a 6-foot-7 French forward, has been playing with the Westchester Knicks, the New York Knicks’ G League team. He previously played at Santa Clara.

Trey Kaufman-Renn’s put-back shot in the Sweet 16 secured Purdue’s place in the Elite Eight with a 79-77 victory over Texas. Kaufman-Renn finished with a team-high 20 points. Purdue now awaits the winner of No. 1 Arizona and No. 4 Arkansas.
