In a 2026 NFL mock draft, quarterback Ty Simpson is projected to be drafted by the Jets. The mock draft includes four trades in the first round. The projection accounts for free agency as well as information gleaned from the NFL Scouting Combine and the first few weeks of pro days.
Dean Burmester likened the atmosphere at LIV Golf’s South Africa event to a ‘small taste of the Ryder Cup’. Over 100,000 tickets were sold for the event in Johannesburg. Burmester described the week as the ‘greatest week of my life’.

Barnes has been called up once before, in October 2020, when he won his only England cap in a friendly against Wales.
UConn defeated UCLA 73-57 in the NCAA Tournament. Alex Karaban scored a career-high 27 points for UConn. The Huskies will now face Michigan State in the East Region semifinals.
Alvaro Folgueiras hit a 3-pointer with 4.5 seconds left, securing a 73-72 victory for Iowa over defending national champion Florida in the second round of the NCAA Tournament. Iowa’s win marks their first Sweet 16 appearance since 1999. Florida became the first No. 1 seed to be knocked out of this year’s March Madness.
Details regarding the UConn men’s basketball schedule have been released. Other basketball news includes Amaya Battle’s clutch bucket which sent Minnesota to the Sweet 16. Madison Booker set a career high with 40 points in Texas’s win.
Odell Beckham Jr. is aiming for a return to the NFL. He hopes his participation in the Fanatics Flag Football Classic will help him secure another opportunity in the league. Beckham also mentioned he’d welcome a return to the Giants.
Traffic was stopped for two hours after a coach caught fire on the M6 Toll in Warwickshire. The coach had been taking Manchester City fans to Wembley for the Carabao Cup final against Arsenal. All passengers and the driver were safely evacuated with no injuries.
England have released their new home and away kits ahead of the FIFA 2026 World Cup. The launch features an atmospheric video with Mike Skinner of The Streets. The new kits will be available from Monday 23 March.
