Aaron Ramsey, Wales captain and former Arsenal midfielder, has announced his retirement from professional football with immediate effect. The 35-year-old, who had been without a club since leaving Mexican side Pumas UNAM last year, is expected to pursue a career in coaching. Ramsey made his senior Wales debut at the age of 17 in 2008.
