Flagg’s Rookie Season

Flagg was selected with the No. 1 overall pick by the Dallas Mavericks in the 2025 NBA Draft. During his first year in the league, he averaged 21.0 points, 6.7 rebounds, 4.5 assists, 1.2 steals, and 0.9 blocks per game across 70 starts.

Now that his rookie season is over after the Mavs failed to make the playoffs, he shared how he plans on looking during his second season in the league.

“I’m going to work on a lot of different things,” Flagg said per The Rookie Wire. “There is always room for improvement in every area of the game. I think there is a ton of growth that I can make offensively, off the dribble and making reads at a high level. I’m excited to just get in the gym, especially with some of the guys, and continue to learn and grow in a lot of different areas.”

The Mavericks star, who also went to Duke University, is dating the Duke Blue Devils women’s basketball team and most likely met when they were on campus.
