Alexander Zverev, currently ranked No. 3 in the world, may be a rival to Jannik Sinner on the court, but off the court, their partners appear to get along well. Sinner’s girlfriend, Laila Hasanovic, and Zverev’s girlfriend, Sophia Thomalla, recently had an exchange on Instagram.
Instagram Interaction Between the Partners
Hasanovic made an Instagram post on April 4 featuring three photos of herself and her dog, Snoopy. The post was captioned, “snoopy runs the shoot”. Thomalla left a comment on the post, writing, “❤️🐕”. Hasanovic responded with, “🫀🫀”.
Zverev and Sinner’s On-Court Rivalry
Zverev is considered by some to be on the cusp of becoming a true competitive peer with Carlos Alcaraz and Jannik Sinner. However, Sinner has won his last seven matches against Zverev. These include the semifinal of the Indian Wells Open and the Miami Open.
Relationships Off the Court
Sinner has been in a relationship with Laila Hasanovic since the summer of 2025. They also share a dog, named Snoopy. Zverev has been dating Sophia Thomalla since 2020. They are still together despite past rumours that Zverev might have been with somebody else at the Australian Open.
Potential Friendship Due to Dogs
Thomalla and Zverev also have a dog together, named Mishka, who has his own Instagram account. Perhaps Sinner and Zverev could become friends on behalf of their dogs and their girlfriends spending time together.
