Alan Brazil was absent from his breakfast show at the Cheltenham Festival after only one day of racing action.

TalkSPORT’s Statement on Brazil’s Absence
Radio station talkSPORT have alluded to Brazil’s history of excuses for missing his breakfast show with the running joke becoming ‘can Alan host all four of his assigned shows?’
Aherne provided an update to start the show. She said: “Good morning, you are listening to talkSPORT Breakfast, my name’s Shebahn Aherne, not Alan Brazil, can you believe it? Day two, has he beaten his own record?”
Reactions and Updates on Brazil’s Condition
Pundit Dean Saunders was adamant Brazil would be back before the end of the week.
Aherne added: “It’s not like he’s fallen off the wagon, or anything like that. he’s just absolutely banjaxed after one day of Cheltenham. It’s Cheltenham one, Alan Brazil nil. Unfortunately, he’s not going to be here, but he is absolutely fine. He is resting up and he will be back with you tomorrow.”
Listeners reacted on social media, with some expressing concern due to how Brazil sounded on Tuesday.
