Barcelona midfielder Aitana Bonmatí has been given the medical all-clear after recovering from a left fibula fracture. She has been named in the Barcelona squad for Sunday’s Champions League semi-final second leg against Bayern Munich at the Spotify Camp Nou.

Bonmatí’s Injury and Recovery

Bonmatí, a triple Ballon d’Or winner, suffered the injury in training with the Spanish national team in late November. This occurred the day before the Nations League final second leg against Germany. She underwent surgery on 2 December. Now, five months later, she is back in the Barcelona squad.
