Adley Rutschman Returns to Orioles Lineup After Ankle Issue

Adley Rutschman has been reinstated by the Baltimore Orioles. The catcher returns from the injured list prior to Tuesday night’s game at Kansas City.

Rutschman’s Absence and Return

Rutschman had been sidelined since April 10 due to left ankle inflammation.

Before the injury, he was hitting .294 with six doubles across his initial 10 games this season.

Huff Designated for Assignment

In a corresponding move, the Orioles designated catcher Sam Huff for assignment.

Rutschman’s Recent Performance

Rutschman, a two-time All-Star, is looking to improve upon his previous season. He hit .220 with nine home runs and 29 RBIs last year, playing 90 games.

Rutschman’s return provides a boost for the Orioles lineup.
