Abby Hornacek Slammed by Wrestling Champ on Live TV

Abby Hornacek, a Fox Nation host, experienced a wrestling move first-hand when she was slammed to the mat by a wrestling champion on live TV on Saturday.

Hornacek joined Fox & Friends Weekend to promote RAF Wrestling, which has an event on Fox Nation later in the day.

The Suplex on Live TV

Hornacek interviewed RAF Middleweight champ Kennedy Blades before suggesting Blades demonstrate her special move, the suplex, on her. Hornacek admitted she was nervous as they squared up.

Blades grabbed Hornacek around the hips, lifted her in the air, and slammed her down onto the mat. The impact made a loud thud, and reactions were audible in the gym.

Hornacek’s Reaction

Despite the forceful slam, Hornacek seemed unaffected. “Ohhh! Amazing. I don’t think I can be a wrestler,” she exclaimed.

She quickly got up, gave Blades a high-five, and joked with the Fox crew back in the studio. “Alright, the mic pack did not survive, but I did, luckily,” she said, showing off her battered microphone.

Hornacek added, “I know that looked worse than it was, but it was a lot of fun. I think I’m going to stay off the mat from now on. But Kennedy here, I gotta say — that felt like being thrown off a skyscraper.”

Reactions from the Fox Crew

The studio crew was amused by Hornacek’s experience. Co-host Griff Jenkins asked, “Are you okay?!”

Hornacek replied, “I feel great. I feel like a million bucks.” Charlie Hurt commented that it might’ve been the “greatest promo” he’d ever seen. His co-host Rachel Campos-Duffy agreed, calling it the “best promo I’ve ever seen.”

The segment concluded with light-hearted banter, leaving a memorable mark on the show.
