Notts County Set for League Two Clash with Newport County

Newport County are preparing for a Sky Bet League Two match against Notts County.

The Exiles will travel to Meadow Lane this Easter Monday for the fixture, which is described as a crucial one as the battle for Sky Bet League Two survival continues.

The Venue: Meadow Lane

Meadow Lane has been home to Notts County since 1910.

The ground is located just 270 metres from City Ground.

The stadium was redeveloped in the early 1990s and now features four modern all-seater stands, including the Derek Pavis Stand, which houses the club’s main facilities.

Away supporters will be housed in the Jimmy Sirrel Stand, with an allocation of around 1,300.

The journey from Rodney Parade to Meadow Lane is approximately 150 miles and takes around two hours 40 minutes in good conditions.

Supporters are advised to allow extra time, particularly over the Easter period.

Several parking options are available within walking distance of the stadium. On-street parking is also available but must be paid via RingGo.

Supporters can also use Nottingham’s Park & Ride scheme.

  • Journey time is around 15 minutes.

Nottingham railway station is approximately a 10–15 minute walk from the stadium. Direct services from Newport run regularly, taking just over three hours. Supporters travelling by train should plan ahead, particularly for return journeys.
