The 11th season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) is fast approaching, scheduled to commence on Thursday, March 26. This year introduces two fresh teams, the Hyderabad Kingsmen and Rawalpindiz, expanding the tournament to eight teams.
Lahore Qalandars Roster
Shaheen Shah Afridi will captain the Lahore Qalandars. The squad includes players such as Abdullah Shafique, Sikandar Raza*, Mohammad Naeem, and Mustafizur Rahman*.
Other notable players in the Qalandars’ lineup are Asif Ali, Haris Rauf, Fakhar Zaman, and Usama Mir. The team also features Ubaid Shah, Haseebullah, Mohammad Farooq, and Daniel Sams*.
The Qalandars’ squad is rounded out by Parvez Hussain Emon*, Hussain Talat, Tayyab Tahir, Dunith Wellalage*, Rubin Hermann*, Maaz Khan, Shahab Khan, and Gudakesh Motie*.
Hyderabad Kingsmen Squad Breakdown
Marnus Labuschagne* will lead the Hyderabad Kingsmen. The squad includes Usman Khan, Akif Javed, Maaz Sadaqat, and Saim Ayub.
Key players for the Kingsmen also include Mohammad Ali, Saad Ali, Kusal Perera*, and Muhammad Irfan Khan. The team also boasts Hassan Khan*, Shayan Jahangir*, and Glenn Maxwell*.
Rounding out the Kingsmen are Hammad Azam, Riley Meredith*, Sharjeel Khan, Asif Mehmood, Hunain Shah, Rizwan Mehmood, Tayyab Arif, Ahmed Hussain, and Maheesh Theekshana*.
New Teams and Auction Dynamics
With the addition of the Hyderabad Kingsmen and Rawalpindiz, this marks an expansion to an eight-team tournament. A first-ever PSL auction was held earlier this year, with each team filling their required quota of players.
The Rawalpindiz squad features Mohammad Rizwan (c), Sam Billings*, Jalat Khan, Yasir Khan, and Naseem Shah. Rishad Hossain*, Daryl Mitchell*, Mohammad Amir, and Abdullah Fazal are also part of the team.
Completing the Rawalpindiz squad are Amad Butt, Dian Forrestor*, Laurie Evans*, Asif Afridi, Kamran Ghulam, Fawad Ali, Mohammad Amir Khan, Shahzaib Khan, Cole McConchie*, and Saad Masood.
Other PSL Teams
Other teams participating in the PSL 2026 include Peshawar Zalmi, Quetta Gladiators, Multan Sultans, Karachi Kings, and Islamabad United. Babar Azam (c) will lead Peshawar Zalmi, while Saud Shakeel (c) captains the Quetta Gladiators.
Ashton Turner* (c) will lead Multan Sultans, David Warner* (c) captains Karachi Kings, and Shadab Khan (c) leads Islamabad United.
