Rochdale AFC has announced trial dates for its academy teams, spanning from Under-8s through to Under-16s.
Trial Dates and Location
The trials will be held across three dates in April: Wednesday 8th, Monday 13th, and Tuesday 14th. Each day will feature trials for different age groups:
- U8s-10s: 10am-11.30am
- U11s-13s: 12.30pm-2pm
- U14s-16s: 2.30pm-4pm
These trials will take place at Platt Lane Sports Complex (Yew Tree Road, Fallowfield, M14 7UU), the training home of Rochdale’s First Team.
Registration and Administration
Parents or guardians can register their child via a provided online form. There is a £5 administration charge per player.
Future of Youth Development Programme
The status of the boys youth development programme for next season hinges on the Men’s First Team’s divisional status for 2026/27.
Should Rochdale regain EFL status, they will be permitted to apply for a licence to operate an Academy under EPPP. If the team competes in The National League, the existing Academy teams will continue in their current form.
Those unable to attend the specified dates are encouraged to still fill out the form, as the club may plan future dates.
