Golfing great John Daly had a moment that was both hilarious and potentially serious after he fell down a desert hill during the Cologuard Classic. Daly subsequently shared a video of the incident on social media, calling himself a ‘jacka–‘ in the process.
Daly’s Desert Descent
The incident occurred at La Paloma Country Club. Daly was attempting to hit a shot onto a green when he lost his footing on the desert terrain.
As he tried to regain his balance in the sand, Daly’s feet slipped out from under him, sending him sliding down a long desert hill. Several people rushed to help, jumping down the hill to check on Daly’s condition.
Daly emerged from the tumble unscathed. He added theme music from the ‘Jackass’ franchise to the video he shared.
“Bellyfloppin’ in the desert,” Daly captioned the video, also giving a shout out to his caddie, Joel Cooley, who reacted quickly to ensure Daly was alright. The video also featured the caption: “On today’s episode of ‘jacka**’”.
