March Madness is underway, giving college stars the opportunity to solidify their position in this summer’s NBA draft class. The 2026 draft is expected to take place in late June.
UConn’s Braylon Mullins is projected to go in the first round, according to USA TODAY’s latest mock draft.
Mullins’ Strengths and Draft Stock
Braylon Mullins is a five-star recruit and former McDonald’s All-American. He missed the start of the season due to an ankle injury but has since returned to action for the Huskies.
Mullins has demonstrated his appeal as a player and is a useful off-ball threat, which gives him an immediately practical role at the next level. The Big East All-Freshman wing is shooting 37.1 percent on 3-pointers since moving into the starting lineup.
USA TODAY currently projects how the guard’s draft night will play out.
