The Betfred Challenge Cup quarter-final draw has produced some exciting matchups.
Key Quarter-Final Matchups
Holders Hull KR are set to host Super League newcomers York Knights in one of the four ties. York defeated the Robins in their first Super League game last month. To advance, they will have to win at Sewell Group Craven Park. York have never lifted the Cup and only appeared in the final once back in the 1931-32 season.
Warrington Wolves, who have lost at Wembley in each of the last two seasons, were drawn at home to 2023 winners Leigh Leopards. St Helens will entertain Catalans Dragons.
Wakefield Trinity, who knocked Leeds Rhinos out in the last round, are rewarded with a home tie against Wigan Warriors, who have won the Cup a record 21 times.
Draw Ceremony Details
Presenter Gethin Jones conducted the draw on BBC’s Morning Live show with co-presenter Helen Skelton hosting. Alex Walmsley, who won the Cup with Saints in 2021, was a guest on the live show. Josh Griffin, who tasted glory in the competition with Hull FC in 2017, also appeared on the show.
